Similarly, a knocking or cracking noise is nothing to worry about when the temperature of the fridge fluctuates the plastic parts inside of it shrink and expand creating the knocking noise.
If you hear a buzzing or humming noise from the inside of the fridge it could mean that the water hose is not connected to the water inlet unless the noise is very loud there’s no need to be concerned. If you don’t use it often you can turn off the icemaker to minimize the sound.
